Viewing the Coronation (May 6th)
The Coronation Service will be shown at both Rufford Church Hall and the Community Space at Holy Trinity, Tarleton. Come and celebrate with friends. Refreshments available.
Gather to watch the build up the Service at 11am and the Balcony Appearance
Rufford’s Coronation Funday (May 7th)
1pm: Fun Day at the Cricket Club after church on the Sunday.
Coronation – All Age Worship (May 14th)
On Sunday, May 14th our All Age Services will give thanks for HM The King’s service and ask what we can learn from that, as well as praying for God’s Blessing on HM’s reign.
9.15am: St Mary’s, Rufford
10.45: Holy trinity, Tarleton
Prayers for the King, Royal Family and Nation
In the run up to May 6th we will praying for various aspects of HM The King’s role as King, for his Family and our Nation.
- A booklet of daily prayers for use at home from Easter Day to May 6th will be available in churches
- We have accept the Archbishop of York & Canterbury’s call for a Week of Prayer from April 30th – May 6th. This week will have prayers for Members of the Royal Family and the Nation.
- Friday May 5th: A Prayer Vigil Service for the new Reign St Mary’s Rufford at 7pm
Volunteering in Tarleton on Bank Holiday Monday (May 8th)
- On Monday morning you are invited to join a team of volunteers helping to clean St Mary’s Windgate. St Mary’s is looked after by The Churches Conservation Trust, of which HM The King is Patron
- On Monday afternoon we will do a litter pick around the Village
- We are launching a sign up to volunteer at Holy Trinity and St Mary’s ongoing, including being a Sunday Club helper.
Rufford Volunteers Reception on Bank Holiday Monday (May 8th)
The Church at Rufford will host a Reception to say thank you to the village’s volunteers for all they do for their local community.
