As part of the Fundraising Campaign to raise a third of a million to repair St Mary’s Rufford’s Spire and make the church fit for present day needs we are holding a Gala Dinner at the Rufford Arms on November 30th 7pm for 7.30pm.
Diners will be able to spend an evening with, and hear from the award winning actor Andrew Lancel. Andrew will be known to you as Frank Foster in Coronation Street and DI Neil Manson in The Bill and currently Unforgotten on ITV.
He will share stories of his time growing up in Lancashire and his time on stage and screen.
Our Rector Fr Mark commenting on the evening said:
I am grateful to Andrew for offering to support our Appeal in this way. I look forward to welcoming back one of Rufford’s famous sons.
It is also great to collaborate with the Rufford Arms on this venture, as I know first hand how good their food is.
The tickets cost £35 and include a Three Course Dinner and Coffee.
The event is organised in collaboration with The Rufford Arms.
