Ordination
The weekend comes to a climax at 4pm when Philip, Bishop Of Blackburn will conduct the Ordination of Fr Joe as Priest at Holy Trinity, Tarleton. The Preacher at ths service will be Revd Dr Tom Woolford.
Weekend in Rufford
Scarecrow Festival and Open Gardens
There are six gardens to visit all within walking distance of each other. A pleasant amble will ensure an enjoyable time with Scarecrows to find and tea and cakes served in the Church Hall.
Tickets (including Map and information leaflet) are available from Sephton’s Garage; Rosebud’s Farm Bakery; A Kut Above (Hairdresser above the pharmacy) or at any of the gardens on the day.

Saturday in Tarleton
Rose Queen Day
During the afternoon Isabelle Crawford will be crowned Rose Queen at Tarleton Holy Trinity School Grounds.
In what is always a great afternoon, there will be stalls selling fruit, veg and cakes. As well as a a Burger & Hot Dog Stand , alongside Ice Cream and Candy Floss. Activities during the afternoon including throwing wet sponges at the Rector.
Isabelle’s Charity for the year is St Catherine’s Hospice, Preston.
