At the heart of the Tarleton celebration is the Lets Go Green exhibition in church. Open Saturday 8am -7pm and Sunday 12.30pm -3.30pm.
Writing in a forward to the brochure for the Tarleton’ s Lets Go Green exhibition The Rt Hon Sir Robert Buckland KBE KC, Chair of the Church of England Net Zero Committee and the Church’s Third Estate Commissioner reflects:
“Throughout the weekend, local organisations, growers, flower clubs, volunteers and community groups have come together in a remarkable expression of partnership and shared endeavour, demonstrating how creativity, collaboration, and community action can strengthen local relationships while making a meaningful contribution to the care of our environment. Their collective efforts offer a powerful reminder that stewardship of creation is both a responsibility and an opportunity, enabling us to build a more sustainable future.

What makes ‘Let’s Go Green’ particularly inspiring is its commitment to sustainable practice.  Through the use of locally grown flowers, produce, recycled and upcycled materials, the festival showcases how creativity and responsible stewardship can work hand in hand.  It is a powerful reminder that small, thoughtful choices can contribute to lasting change.

I am greatly encouraged by initiatives such as this, which show how communities can respond positively and imaginatively to the challenges facing our environment today.”
