On Thursday, February 24th we Said a Holy Eucharist for peace in Europe at St Mary’s Rufford.
At Holy Trinity we have turned our ceiling lights blue and yellow – the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
Almighty God, seated above all the affairs of humankind and sovereign over nations and leaders, hear our prayer for Ukraine at this time of war, that lives may be spared, that national boundaries be respected and that forces
of aggression be restrained.
Grant, Lord God, peace in your world in our time. Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen
We continue to remember the situation in Prayer.
- The Diocese have asked us all to pray at 6pm on March 1st
- The Holy Father has called all Christians to a Day of Fasting and Prayer on March 2nd
