HARVEST APPEAL FROM THE BISHOP
The Bishop’s Harvest Appeal this year draws attention to a humanitarian crisis in South Sudan and the work of churches and aid agencies responding to thousands of people being displaced by violence.
Bishop Philip and the Diocese of Blackburn has developed close links with the Bishop Joseph Aba and Diocese of Liwolo in recent years.
Our Harvest Appeal is raising money for Liwolo and anyone who wants to help can do so by making a donation.
Bishop Philip is also holding an assault course challenge alongside clergy from across the Diocese! Fr Joe has accepted the challenge, do support him

The Harvest Appeal is to help our Link Diocese of Liwolo. Our diocese is seeking to support the Jehovah Rapha Healthcare Centre in Liwolo. This is a simple but life-saving intervention that will ensure continued local access to essential healthcare. The Appeal will also help those finding refuggee in the Cathedral after their homes were burnt down.
As part of this Appeal Bishop Philip has encouraged the clergy in the Diocese to join him for an Assault Course Challenge. Fr Joe has accepted this challenge- will you support him?
