Old Church Sunday
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions we are unable to have an actual service in St Mary’s,Windgate, Tarleton this year, but we will be streaming a service from there from 9.30am on August 23rd on our parish facebook page. Do join us for that!
Heritage Open Day
As part of the Heritage open day scheme the church will be open to visitors from 10am -3pm on Thursday, September 17th.

This picturesque early Georgian chapel has a lovely unspoiled interior. It was built in 1717, although in 1824 the small tower was heightened and the pretty domed bellcote added.
The church retains many original fittings including box pews, open benches, stone flagged floors, a reading desk and a west gallery that extends along the south wall, all lit by clear glass in large round-headed windows.
The pretty churchyard contains some handsome eighteenth and nineteenth-century headstones.
