Worship arrangements from July 19th

“Within the Church we believe that everyone is known and loved individually by God and that as many members within one body we are called to be responsible to and for one another, respecting the more vulnerable whose suffering is our suffering (1 Cor 12:12-27)”.

We have decided to take the followings steps from July 19:

not to re-start sharing the peace physically at the moment
to communicate the host only at the choir step. I know some will be unhappy with this, but can I re-assure you that receiving in one kind is as efficacious as receiving in two kinds.
the hassocks (kneelers) and pew coverings will be returned to use
some social distancing will be maintained, but there is no need to book to attend a service
have limited congregational singing
use Facemasks when moving around and singing

The Wardens and Rector will continue to keep the situation under review.

Fr Mark served in the Royal Army Chaplain’s Department from 1998- 2012 and until 2017 was Chairman of Trustees of the Welsh Warrior: Richard Hunt Foundation, which cares for veterans. As Secretary to the Committee of Anglican Religious Communities in England, he also works with all nuns, monks and friars throughout the Church of England
