There are displays in both churches to help us with remembering the great sacrifice that was made for our peace. Please take time to pause and reflect at them.
Armistice Day (November 11th)
Along with pupils from Tarleton Holy Trinity School we will gather at the War Memorial in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church at 10.55am for a short Service of Remembrance and 2 minutes silence at 11am
Remembrance Sunday (November 14th)
We will mark Remembrance Sunday in both churches.
Rufford
At 9am a short procession of UNInformed oRganisations will may their way to St Mary’s Church, Rufford where there will be an All Age Eucharist and Act of Remembrance.
Tarleton
Following a march from St Mark’s Square we will gather at 10.45am around the War Memorial in the grounds of Holy Trinity Church for an Act of Remembrance and Two Minutes Silence.
At 11.05 we will process in to church for a Sung Eucharist service.
